Richard (Rick) Cartwright is an experienced leader in the Foodservice and Food Retail industry . As an engineer, he designed electronic control systems. For the past 15 years, Mr. Cartwright has held many leadership positions including Project Leader, Manager, Director, General Manager and Vice President.He currently works for ITW (NYSE: ITW) in the Food Equipment Group. He currently serves as a Vice President for a business unit of the Food Equipment Group. Mr. Cartwright is passionate about leadership, developing individuals to reach their full potential and continuous learning. He is a zealous reader. He is an innovator, listed as the inventor on many patents and instrumental in the implementation of many others.
Mr. Cartwright previously served as chair for both the NAFEM Data Protocol and NAFEM Life Cycle Model steering committee. He also served as chair of the NAFEM Technical Liaison Committee (TLC). He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Troy, Ohio United Way and the Miami County P-16 council (ACHIEVE). He is also active in the LDS Church.
He enjoys lifting weights, riding his road bike and working – yes, he is an admitted workaholic. He is the father of four sons. When they were young, there was never a dull moment – now they are older, but still a great joy. Rick is married to Teresa - the love of his life.
