Chest & Shoulders

We turned it up another notch today. This was a very intense lift. We went nuts on the incline bench work the polished it off .. here is the workout:

  • Incline BB bench: 3 sets to failure. I had not done this life for a long time but having a spotter changes the game. I am so glad we did these.
  • Low Incline DB press: 3 sets to failure+.
  • Peck deck: 2 sets to failure+. br>
  • Cable fly to press: 3 sets to failure+. We took the fly to failure then moved to a chest press to failure+.
  • cable unilateral side laterals: 2 sets to failure+. I did a drop on the second set.
  • True side lateral machine: 2 sets to failure+.
  • True OH press: 2 sets to failure+. I used two different grips .. the 1st set was palms out, second was a neutral grip.
  • Bike sprints / HIIT: 8 reps.
  • Elliptical for 13 minutes.

What a killer workout. This was super intense and the pump was amazing.

My meals yesterday:

  • Pre workokut: I had serving of yogurt with 1 strawbery and 11g of protein powder (Equip).
  • Meal 1 was a can of sardines, 4 eggs, bison liver, oysters, butter, tallow, a slice of cheese and 41g of avocado.
  • Meal 2 was 133g of ground bison, 4 eggs, a square of dark chocolaste (100%), a slice of cheese, butter and tallow.
  • Meal 3 was a 134g of bision NY Strip, 4 eggs, yogurt, dark chocolate (1 square), a slice of cheese, butter and tallow.

The macros for the day:

  • Calories: 3333
  • Protein: 248g
  • Carbs: 48g (above target)
  • Fat: 242g

This is on the high side, but it felt great and helped recover from that intense leg workout.

My weight this morning was 184.4 pounds. Fat was 14.8 pounds. I don't believe that number but I do think it is directionally correct.

My step count yesterday was 12,067.
