Back 5/10/2025

I had another good back workout today. I will just jump right into the workout:

  • Pulldowns: 3 sets to faliure+. I started heavy and a little fast but dropped the weight on the last set and focused that set on the squeeze.
  • DB Rows: 2 sets to failure+. I have not done these for a long time but thy felt great. I will do them again soon.
  • Seated cable high rows: Low Row: 2 sets to failure+. This was both arms using a D handle with an extender. Wow, it felt amazing.
  • Cable pullover: I did this using myoreps. What a pump.
  • Cable crunches: 3 sets.
  • Knees Over Toes 3 sets.
  • Hopping 3 sets.
  • Elliptical 23 minutes.

What a great workout. Those DB rows surprised me. I was concerned about getting the form right after not using them for so long but it was like getting back on a bike after time away. The pullovers were also outstading. In the end, a great pump.

My food intake yesterday:

  • Pre-workout I had serving of yogurt with a scoop of protein. I added a second serving of yogurt post workout.
  • Meal 1 was .6 oz of bison liver, 0.6 oz of oysters, a can of sardines, a square of dark chocolate, 10 oz of bround bison / beef mix and 4 eggs.
  • Meal 2 was 10 of ground beef / bison mix, a slice of cheese and 4 eggs.
  • Meal 3 was a large beef sirlon steak and 4 eggs.
  • About 2.5 hours before bed, I had a serving of yogurt with a scoop of protein.

My weight this morning was 183.3 pounds. Total steps yesterday was 16,035.
