Legs 5/12/2025

Today was a ham focused leg day. That means kill hams and polish quads. This was a success .. at least it I can feel it in my legs. Here is the workout:

  • Seated hamstring curls: 3 sets to failure+. Man, this felt great.
  • RDLs: 3 sets. I did these a ilttle heavier than I have been. It sure left me with an amazing pump, even in the 8 to 9 rep range. I love RDLs.
  • Lying leg curls: Myoreps for 7 sets with 30 second rest .. this finished off my hams. Excelent!
  • True leg press: 2 sets to failure and a few paritals on the 2nd set.
  • Leg press (the traditional version): 1 set to failure+.
  • Leg Extensions: 1 set with a triple drop to failure+.
  • Giant set: Cable crunch, LP Calves and adductors. 3 sets.

What a great workout. My quads feel fresh but my hams are shot. This was the mission today and I feel I hit it exactly as desired.

My food intake yesterday:

  • Pre-workout: I had a 1 servings of yogurt with a scoop of protein. I added a second serving of yogurt post workout.
  • Meal 1 was 10.0 oz of ground beef / bison mix, 4 eggs, 1/2 an avocado, and a slice of cheese.
  • Meal 2 was 6 oz of salmon , 4 eggs, a slice of cheese. and a square of dark chocolate (I need to stop having the chocolate so often).
  • Meal 3 was 10 oz of ground beef / bison mix, 4 eggs and two slices of cheese.
  • About 3 hours before bed I had a dobule serving of yogurt and a scoop of protein.
