Legs 5/28/2025

We focused on hams today. I told Derick we would hit hams hard and go easy on quads. I lied .. we killed both hams and quads.

  • Standing leg curls: 2 sets to failure. I pumped our some partisl too.
  • Superset: Seated leg curls + RDLs for 3 sets. I took the seated leg curls to failure+ but the RDLs I only failed on the 3rd set. This felt super good and my hams liked it.
  • Lying leg curls: 3 sets to failure with a drop set for the final set. I dropped it twice. Wow, this was intense.
  • True leg press: 2 sets to failure+. This was super intense.
  • Leg Extensions: Unlaterial going for 5 reps right, then 5 left, back and forth 4 times.
  • Let extensions: 1 sets to failure+ including a drop after I failed.
  • Giant set: Cable crunch, LP Calves and adductors. 3 sets.
  • No post lift cardio .. just walking today.

Yes, having Derick training with me increases the intensity. Time for recovery.

My food intake yesterday:

  • Pre-workout: I had ~180g full-fat yogurt with 20g of blueberries.
  • Meal 1 was a double serving of yougurt, a serving (1 scoop) of HLTH code, oysters, bison liver, a can of sardines, butter.
  • Meal 2 was ground bision, butter, a slice of cheddar cheese, tallow and butter.
  • Meal 3 was 3 slices of bacon, an avocado, butter, a small bision sirloin steak, a slice of cheese and a square of chocolate.

Macros:

  • Total calories: 2820
  • Protein: 204
  • Fat: 201
  • Carbs: 54.3

Carbs were a little high but this felt great.

My weight this morning was 182.6 pounds. That is down 2.9 lbs. My fat was 16.4 which is also down. Steps yesterday: 16,545.

I play to do a slightly higher intake today.
