Chest & Shoulders 5/29/2025

It was a chest and shoulder day and this did not disapoint me at all. Derick and I did the incline smith and shoulder stuff together allwoing for extra intensity. Here is the full workout:

  • Incline smith chest press: 3 sets to failure with forced reps and a drop on the last set. Wow, the pump was intense.
  • Seated Hammer chest press: 2 sets to failure+. This machine is more of a decline press but the movement is a converging press, which I really like. I wish it was the hammer incline chest press.
  • Incline machine chest press: 1 sets to failure+.
  • Pec Deck: 1 set to failure+.
  • Cable fly: 1 set to failure then stright into pressing to failure+. - True side laterals: 3 sets to failure+.
  • Face pulls: 3 sets to failure+.
  • True OH press: 2 sets to failure+.
  • Stationary bike sprints 8 reps.
  • Elliptical for 13 minutes.

The shoulder pump was amazing today. I felt this really deep into those fibers. Same for chest but I don't recall ever feeling shouilders more than today.

My food intake yesterday:

  • Pre workokut: I had serving of yogurt with 20g of blueberries and a scoop of MCT powder.
  • Post workout I had 280g of salmon, 14g of bison liver, 20g of oysters, tallow, butter and 3 eggs.
  • Meal 2 was 130g of ground bison, 5 eggs, butter, tallow, a slice of cheese, and a square of 100% dark chocolate.
  • Meal 3 was a 109g of ground bison, tallow, butter, a slice of chssee.

The macros for the day:

  • Calories: 3143 (increased today)
  • Protein: 224g
  • Carbs: 49g
  • Fat: 236g .

The extra calories yesterday felt great. Tomorrow I will dow back to around 2800.

My weight this morning was 183.9 pounds. That was up, but I am holding some water, like inflamtion from the leg workokut. Fat was 16.6.

Step count yesterday was 13,895.
