Arms 6/25/2025
Another great arm day in the books, and what a pump! I call this workout: “Squeezy Squezy: Nasty, Nasty". We did sets that were all about form and the stretch/squeeze, and some that were pure heavy and not so pretty (ie, less than perfect form). I guess we do that all the time, but it seemed to be even more so today. Here is what we did:
- EZ bar pushdowns: 3 sets to failure with partials. What a great starter.
- EZ Overhead cable extensions: 3 sets to failure with partials. We didn't include these last week and they felt great today.
- True Dip machine: 3 sets to failure. The last set was a superset with a set of rope pushdowns. That was intense.
- Cable curls: 3 sets to failure with partials. This felt amazing today .. love the stretch.
- True seated curls: This is a big squeezing lift .. and it felt really great.
- Preacher curls (hammer): 3 sets to failure with partials and the last as a superset. Added reps using the cable curl again with less weight, squeezing it to get every fiber activated.
- Cable wrist curls, both palms up and down. 3 sets of each.
- Wrist roller: 3 sets.
- Sled HIIT / Sprints: 10 minutes / 8 reps.
- Elliptical 13 minutes.
Yes, a great workout.
