Legs 7/22/2025
We did a little more large muscle (pressing & heavier hinging) work today. Last week it was 3 squating and 3 high position leg press with 3 of leg extension and 3 for leg curls. We did a 2 sets type of rotation today. Let's just get to the numbers:
- Front squats: went right to the heavier weight today for 2 sets. Nothing crazy but it was hard. I took it close to failure but my form was breaking donw.
- RDLs: 2 sets with higher reps and a little less weight. I topped out at 275. This felt good.
- Hack Squats: 2 sets to near failure.
- Seated leg curls: 2 sets to failure with partials.
- Unilateral leg extensions: 2 sets to failure with partials. For the 2nd sets I went back in forth between legs for 5 each twice, the took it to failure for the 3rd time.
- Lying leg curls: 2 sets to failure. This was more of squeezing sets.
- Giant set: Abs, calves and heavy adductors: 3 sets.
This was intense and took a lot of energy. A bit more pressing made for a longer and more intense workout.
My weight this morning was 183.9 and total fat was 16.6 pounds.
Steps yesterday: 16,670.
