Legs 8/21/2025
Another solo leg workout in the books. I did more pressing today and my legs are so sore. Here is the workout:
- Smith squats: 2 working sets to near failure. I am not comfortable goig to failure without a spot on ths one but it was very near failure.
- Standing leg curls: 2 sets to failure with partials.
- Hack Squats: 2 sets. I took these to 'failure' but I think I could have done another half rep.
- Seated Leg curls: 2 sets to failure. I added some paertials. The reps were in the 10 to 12 range today.
- Superset: Leg extensions + sissy squats. 2 set to failure. I lovge the contraction of extensions and then the stretch of the sissy squats.
- Lying Leg curls: 2 sets to failure with partials.
- Giant set: Abs, calves and adductors: 3 sets.
The dog walk was my cardio again .. that is my post leg workout. I actually walk them every day, weather premiting but extra. on leg day. My legs are shot.
This workout was great. The sorness has begun.
My weight this morning was 185.5 pounds.
Steps yesterday: 16,553.
